Since then, the company has continually produced quality products while providing affordable prices.
Founded by Gene Haas, the company is known for producing the first collet indexer that is fully automatic and programmable. Four years after the company’s inception, Haas Automation in Canada developed the first vertical machining center. The machine was capable of performing a variety of operations, including tapping, drilling, boring, and milling.
